My Medicine
I am a teacher who enacts an intersectional reading of the tarot and planetary cycles, to help clients and students of all ages, and backgrounds, raise consciousness. I bring to my classes, workshops, and consultations my traditional teaching experience as English teacher, my intensive study as an astrologer, and my personal articulation of the tarot archetypes. I am queer and indigenous, raised on Serrano Land. My work is to help community come to profound realization, clarity and renewed meaning.
By holding out a hand, I aim to calm the spirit as we dive deep into the waters and realms of consciousness. Whether in the communal or personal, I facilitate ritual spaces to explore transformative emotions, the creative imagination, and the deepest source of faith.
By adopting an open and accepting posture, I aim to convey that all feelings are acceptable and can learn to be tolerated and understood to make constructive decisions.
The reading is a form of consultation aimed towards healing by creating connection. I offer practices to take away from the consultation that will deepen the healing process.
Classes are a communal exploration of transformation, as each student becomes witness to their classmates moments of revelation. We become witness, audience and chorus to each other as each of us begin to express a deeper, more meaningful personal identity. My work revitalizes & (re)members the relatedness so primary to being. I seek to cultivate a classroom of liberatory possibility, as it is elevated into a temple of ritual for communal soul-retrieval.

Many of my clients find comfort as I hold space for shame-free vulnerability, dispel any uncertainty with compassion and clarification.
To look deep into one’s circumstances, relationships, and personal journey requires trust, comfort and authenticity. Clients gain the most value when we establish a relationship and work through several or regular sessions.
I empower clients with a bridge to their potential, their emotional energies, illumination of their current path, and uncovered avenues for healing.

Reading Red
My reading of the tarot is informed by my love of literature, culture, mythology, poetry, feminist theory, astrology, critical race theory, psychology & philosophy. I am eternal student dedicated to liberating through love. The various loves of my life enrich my relationship with and understanding of the cards.
In developing critical consciousness, I do not only read cards, but apply a theoretically “critical”, or red, perspective to culture. Further, my indigenous relations connect me with a red nature of being, of navigating and examining the world, in demanding decolonization.
As I have a Scorpio Stellium, Mars motivates me to examine humanity with an infrared perspective.
